Canucks Head Coach and GM Don Phelps along with the Canucks Executive members would like to welcome Ryan Barrett to the Canucks organization as an Assistant Coach. Ryan will replace departing Joe Iure, who is leaving to persue other opportunities. The Canucks would like to thank Joe for his contribution to the team for the past few years and wish him success in his future endeavours.

The Canucks would also like to welcome Doug Hodge to the organization. Doug brings his University of Western Ontario and Team Canada National under 18 team experience with him to assist the on-ice staff with this year's edition of the Calgary Canucks. Welcome Ryan and Doug, it's great to have you joining the Canucks.

Returning players and some great new prospects signal an exciting 2009/2010 season. The Canucks Spring Camp began a busy summer for the Canucks Coaching and Scouting staff. The competition for new talented players is very tough and the Canucks continue their mandate to offer those who desire to stay at home an exciting place to play in a great facility with a fine organization. The Canucks history of winning and developing fine young men and gifted athletes offers an attractive environment for Jr A aged hockey players to succeed. Please consider the Calgary Canucks when deciding on your hockey future.
