The
Canucks 2010 FALL CAMP is set to begin
on August 23. The recruiting process is ongoing as the Canucks Coaching
Staff are always looking to add great young players to the roster. The
next 5 months will be busy for the Coaches and Scouts as they contact
the many individuals on their scouting lists. If any prospective player
does not receive an invitation and feel you would like to try out with
the Canucks Organization please do not hesitate to contact the Canucks.

The
AJHL schedule has been finalized and is available on the AJHL website.
The Canucks 2010-2011 home and away schedule is now available. Please
click the "Schedule" tab in the top header to view. The 2010-2011
Exhibition Schedule has the Canucks teemed up against two top southern
rivals, the Okotoks Oilers and the Calgary Mustangs. Notice the name
change of the arch rival Calgary Royals now named the Mustangs. A new
name should not change the heated rivalry between these two clubs. The
battle should also carry over from last year with the Oilers as well
as an intense rivalry has developed between the Canucks and their southern
neighbors. Should be some great action to start the new season as the
new young skaters try to solidify a spot on their respective team.
The
Canucks open at home on Friday, Aug 27 vs the Oilers, travel to Okotoks
on Saturday, Aug 28, host the Mustangs on Tuesday, Aug 31 and Travel
to FDB on Sept 3. Games at Max Bell and Okotoks start at 7:30 PM while
the tilt at FDB kicks off at 7:00. Should be some great action and we
hope to see you there.

General Meeting will be held on Sept 14/10
at Max Bell Centre starting at 7:00 PM.

The Calgary Canucks Jr. “A”
Booster Club participates in Bingo Events that are held at
the Bingo Palace, 2600 35th Avenue NE, as an on going fund
raising event throughout the year.
The Bingo Halls in Calgary will be holding a Major
Bingo night on July 25th, the $100,000
Calgary Mega Bingo Event.
Each one of the four halls will present a program that has
$25,000 in payouts, featuring a $10,000 shopping spree at
the Cross Iron Mills Mall.
Proceeds from this event will help support the charity groups
that are in each of the four halls including the Calgary Canucks.
Entrance tickets can be won at bingo events leading up to
the July 25th special night, or you can purchase tickets between
July 23 thru July 25th.
